Rode up to Ft Ross today with Bill, a fellow KLR owner.  Got to ride his bike to give me some comparison.  I learned that I need to work on my front shocks.  His are wayyyy more tightly sprung.  Helps a lot with the turns. Also need to I need to get a bright yellow suit like Bill..

Here's the proposed route so far....Any ideas on what I'm missing? I just jotted this down to give me a starting point. I havent seen the Southeast of the US. I'm going to try to stay off the interstates, but the Google maps always wants to put me on them, so this is just a rough directional guideline. EDIT  I'm skipping the south as it will be July and it would be insane to go sccooting round in full gear and boots then.. So up through CO and zip across the midwest to Ste Ste Marie and through Quebec.  Still thinking about that one.
